I was recently going through my photo archives and wanted to post this party done by me a few years ago. I threw a “Sweet Baby Girl” themed baby shower for my little sister and really wanted it to be special. This shower was done way before I owned a DSLR so I apologize about the quality of these photos taken with a flip phone.
I made this square banner to hang over the mantle and hung it with a thin pink ribbon that read “it’s a girl”. I used Martha Stewart glitter and glue over printed letters to give it a textured look.
The main table was inspired by a table found on eat.drink.pretty’s blog. Shown below. I wanted everything on it to go with the pink theme and had it not been freezing out side I would have had it out there.
Here are some of the favor boxes and pink treats that were for guests to take. I also had cellophane bags for each guest to fill up and take home with them.
The Cake was vanilla and strawberry cheesecake filled with homemade buttercream. The decorations were a combination of buttercream and fondant. I also made cake pops from the trimmings of the cake. I dipped them in white chocolate and covered them in pink pearl sprinkles.
