6 Juicing Recipes That Will Rock Your Socks!

Hello fellow juicers and juicer-wannabes! On January 1, 2014 I started the three-day juice cleanse  featured on Dr. Oz with the goal to make it (drinking only freshly-squeezed juices) for seven days or longer (cross your fingers).

Today marks the end of day 2 and I’m feeling great and craving everything junk food related. Luckily, I’ve been on track and haven’t cheated. Blah blah blah right? I know what you came for, and here it is:

Citrus-inspired green juice:
7 leaves kale, 1 cucumber, 1 cup of spinach, 6 clementines. Put all ingredients in a juicer and enjoy over ice.
Sunset juice blend:
1 sweet potato, 1 large carrot, 1 red bell pepper, 2 large apples, half a red beet, 2 oranges.

Juice and enjoy over ice!
Green machine juice:
1 cucumber, 4 celery stalks, 2 Granny Smith apples, 8 leaves kale, half a lemon, 1-inch piece of ginger. Juice and enjoy over ice!

This one is AMAZING!!! Morning citrus juice:
Half a bag of baby carrots, 2 apples, 3 clementines. Juice and enjoy over ice!
Beets are the devil juice:
Half a beet (peeled), 4 stalks of celery, handful of kale, handful of spinach, 1 cucumber, 3 clementines, 1-inch piece of ginger, 2 apples, a bunch of parsley, 1/4 of a lemon. Juice altogether and try to enjoy as you plug your nose while drinking.
Juiced citrus salad:
2 handfuls of spinach, 1 handful of kale, 1 handful full of baby carrots, 4 stalks celery, 1 Granny Smith apple, 1 large orange, 1 quarter piece of the lemon.
Juice all and enjoy over ice!

  1. After about 6 days following recipes the chart I started making up my own recipes just to add a little variety. As long as you are using 3-5 vegetables to every fruit you will continue to detox. Another recipe i used when i felt like cheating was:

    Peach Cobbler
    1 Sweet Potato
    3 Peaches
    Dash of Cinnamon on top

Not something I recommend often, but as a good replacement for the real cobbler 🙂
