As a youth leader in my church, I feel that I need to offer them things that will be helpful for their lives now and in the future. Tonight we will be hosting a Career Night for all youth ages 12-18. Some of the topics we will be discussing will include:
- Networking: Its Who You Know
- What Not To Wear
- How To Build An Impressive Resume
- How To Interview Well
This class is to prepare them for a Career Fair we hope to have later in the year. I hope that we will be able to inspire this group to start making good decisions NOW that will have the greatest impact on their future later in their lives.
I love that you’re doing such a relevant presentation for them. This is great! People are becoming much more successful at younger ages, so the youth we know need to be armed with all the best tools to help them succeed. Something you might want to consider as a topic for another time is a seminar about resumes. I’m a pro at these and would love to help you out if you want! xo
