Chalk Paint Dresser Reveal

The time has come my dears… After 6 months of sitting in the garage this beautiful French provincial dresser had been reunited with my daughters room and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. But first lets look at how it was before I got my crafty little hands on it with some DIY chalk paint.Screen Shot 2015-05-07 at 9.40.55 AM Don’t you love the watermark?! Wow, we’ve come a long way my little blog. Here it is before, a high gloss cream/bone color. And now the after! Its kind of funny how the dresser and wall basically color swapped. Was I the only one who noticed that?Screen Shot 2015-05-07 at 9.31.38 AMScreen Shot 2015-05-07 at 9.31.12 AMScreen Shot 2015-05-07 at 9.32.15 AM Screen Shot 2015-05-07 at 9.33.42 AM Screen Shot 2015-05-07 at 9.30.46 AMI have to admit, after all the stripping and work it took to paint this bad boy I was a little nervous that the color was too light. But after getting into my daughters room, I couldn’t be happier. Its so soft and sweet this new room is coming together beautifully.
