The time has come my dears… After 6 months of sitting in the garage this beautiful French provincial dresser had been reunited with my daughters room and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. But first lets look at how it was before I got my crafty little hands on it with some DIY chalk paint. Don’t you love the watermark?! Wow, we’ve come a long way my little blog. Here it is before, a high gloss cream/bone color. And now the after! Its kind of funny how the dresser and wall basically color swapped. Was I the only one who noticed that?
I have to admit, after all the stripping and work it took to paint this bad boy I was a little nervous that the color was too light. But after getting into my daughters room, I couldn’t be happier. Its so soft and sweet this new room is coming together beautifully.
The color used is called meadow light (460E-1) by Behr in flat. Check out the recipe here. You can find the clock at Ikea, the flowers from Target and the iron silhouette is from Hobby Lobby.
