Its not New Years day until the clock strikes midnight, which is why I planned this party all around a theme I’d like to call “masquerade at midnight”. If you have little ones like me, finding a sitter on New Years Eve (who can stay past midnight) can be a challenge. My potential plans this year (after I get my little one down) is to have a romantic evening in with the hubby or have a few friends to come hang out and enjoy the evening.
I figure we’ll probably be playing games, snacking, reminiscing about 2015 and setting resolutions for the New Year (or at least thinking about it) why not make it a memorable with a fun theme and stunning tablescape?!
For this glamorous look I used a silver sequins tablecloth, silver chargers with black plates, a clock face printout (found on google) a clear plate on top of that, silverware and stemware. I used masquerade masks found from the dollar store, ornaments, feathers and candles I already had on hand. It really was a quick one to throw together. Now all you’d have to do is play Auld Lang Syne and have ready yourself for that New Years kiss.
What are your plans for New Years Eve?
