Berry Lemon Protein Smoothie

Screen Shot 2016-01-06 at 4.25.38 PMMornings used to be a hard one for me, I mean eating in the mornings. As a former late night snacker (or full on second dinner eater), I was rarely hungry in the mornings and usually skipped breakfast because I was too busy running out the door. Now that I try not to eat after 8pm, I usually wake up starving and ready to start my day with a big breakfast. The only problem is I’m still just as busy running out the door. I am ALL about quick, easy and satisfying breakfast ideas that I can make in under 2 minutes and even eat on the go. This berry beverage has exceeded my expectations and has an amazing flavor profile.

I’ve recently teamed up with Veggie Lisa (to help reveal my six pack) and she’s been teaching me so many wonderful ways to mix it up and enjoy eating delicious and fresh foods as part of my new lifestyle. She discovered this recipe while staying at a spa in Southern California (dreamy) and here is her version of the recipe.
