3 Tips To Fitting Back Into Your Skinny Jeans – Lee Denim

After gaining 10 pounds between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I was DYING to get back on track and back in my skinny jeans, literally. Please tell me I’m not the only one.

We’re only halfway through January, but I’m pleased to announce that after making some adjustments in my day to day routine I’ve dropped the holiday 10 (99% sure it was straight up candy weight… it’s a real thing). Now I’m fitting more comfortably into my favorite wash of Lee® Dream – Faith Skinny Jeans and I’m feeling good. These jeans are super soft and have that “broken in” feeling from the first time that you put them on! I know it’s just the start, but I’m getting back on track with my fitness goals for 2017, they are looking closer than ever. If you’ve been in a rut since the holidays, or maybe you just needed a reminder that “Yes! You can do this!” Here are my 3 Tips To Fitting Back Into Your Skinny Jeans! 

1. Track Your Calories

This is the most effective way I know of to get back on the ball with health and fitness goals. There is a lot of power in using a food journal and writing down everything you put in your mouth. It is not only good for accountability with yourself but it creates the habit of awareness, which is huge if you want to keep up with a real lifestyle change.

2. Get Moving!

Whether you’re into Running, Zumba, Yoga or Boxing… just move! And move 3-5 days a week for at least 30-60 minutes. Something magical happens when you let those endorphins flow and you work up a good sweat. Learn to love the amazing and powerful body that you have, it may surprise you how much it truly loves you back.

3. Dress to Impress

This tip may seem like an odd one, but I used to look like a total bum when I was trying to lose weight. I wouldn’t buy new clothes and I felt unattractive. As a result, I hated how I looked and my progress was “never enough”. If you dress in a way that makes you look and feel beautiful as you slim down, you’ll continue to reach your goals and feel amazing at every stage!

  1. Love your tips! And I couldn’t agree more with number five. Especially workout clothes. I found if I have cute workout clothes to work out in. It’s a lot easier to get up early in the morning!!!

  2. Wondering can I get a copy of the cook book you and other put together. I am 56 my kids are grown. I am a heavy grandma. 200 lb. can you share. I will keep it close to my heart. I go to the gym. I live in Kearns Utah
