We recently found out that we are pregnant with baby number two (after trying for about a year!) and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Our oldest Jade turns six in a couple weeks, so we will literally be starting over with this baby, and did I mention, we are over-the-moon excited!? To my surprise, miss Jade cannot stop kissing my belly and talking to the baby (my tummy) about how much she loves the baby and can’t wait to be a big sister. It’s honestly the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen.
During my first pregnancy, and with this one I want to be prepared, which is why one of my favorite places to prep for a new baby is at Sams Club, starting with prenatal vitamins, to best care for my growing baby. Making sure that my baby is developing with all of the essential vitamins and nutrients gives me the peace of mind to tackle a few other things on my to-do list like decorating the nursery and picking baby names 🙂 And by taking a daily prenatal vitamin that I know and trust, like Nature Made® Prenatal Multi + DHA, I can do just that! Nature Made® is the #1 Pharmacist recommended vitamin and supplement brand*. Nature Made Prenatal® Multi + DHA (200mg) 150ct. soft gels are made from carefully selected ingredients under strict manufacturing processes.
But truth be told, I have been a bit worried about Jade adjusting to having another (very needy) little sibling around, dividing my attention. Although she is excited now, I wanted to make sure she feels special and ready for when the baby comes. My plan is to put together a special tote bag to give to her before we head to the hospital (maybe a weeks days before) with a few treats and her very own “Mommy & Me Coupons”. Just so she knows how special she is and that we have a plan to spend some quality time together after, just like old times.

I created this printable with a few of her favorite things that we like to do together. This “Big Sister Celebration Bag” will have these coupons, gum, chapstick, nail polish, a big sister book, and some little knickknacks to help out with the new baby. I hope she’ll love this little reminder of love and it helps her prepare and get even more excited about the new baby.

I cannot stress the importance of taking a prenatal daily! So I wanted to share some of these helpful tips! Make sure you should start taking a prenatal 6 months before you start trying to get pregnant (if possible), basically as soon as you can. It’s important to them to know that even if you’re not pregnant yet, taking prenatal vitamins can make sure that when you do conceive, your body and baby have a healthy start.
